Our Pharmacy team help to ensure safe and effective use of medication, deal with requests for medication not on repeat, organise and deal with medication following outpatient appointments and discharge from hospital.  Assist with long term conditions and discuss side effects or if you feel your medication no longer works for you. 

We are available to discuss serial prescriptions and we also welcome any queries about how you can best manage your medication at home.

Physiotherapist

St Michael’s Medical Centre is benefitting from the expertise of Ruth Bell.  Patients will benefit from her extensive knowledge  of musculoskeletal conditions and provide earlier access to appropriate management and self management of them.  The service will also work to ensure appropriate use of specialist services and pathways and to contribute to appropriate and safe use of prescribed medication of MSK conditions as well as freeing up GP time.

Immunisation Nurse

Holds a weekly clinic on a Thursday morning.

The district nurses are available for home nursing when necessary and also for general nursing advice. They can be contacted via the surgery.

The Health Visiting team attached to St Michael’s are based at The Willows providing care to children and their families in the area.

Our midwifery services and antenatal care are provided by the Blue Team, based at The Willows.
